Outline

The network BioFrankfurt was founded in 2004 and comprises currently 13 institutions. Their main objectives are:

to attract notice to the outstanding impact of biodiversity and its conservation for human welfare, culture, and health
to increase efficiency by bundeling the knowledge and experience of all participating institutions through cooperation and information transfer
to publicise the exceptional commitment of institutions located in the Frankfurt area, especially in the areas of research, protection and education
